Kocham ciÄ™.

I found my apron for the dollar dance!!! What's crazy, is that I've always loved the aprons from snappyshop, but I just never found something I exactly saw as perfect for the wedding. This, I think totally rocks.

Now, I'll just need to incorporate some details from the women in my family, and we'll be good to go.

Woot!

tie the knot.

We are planning on having our groomsmen wear blue ties with their tuxes. My intention is to buy the Dad's ties for Christmas, that will go with their own formalwear. Then, they'll have their tie. They don't have to look for it, and we know it'll all coordinate.
I wonder what my Dad would say if I gave him a tie, with a unicorn.

pink, white, and blue.

I already bought a birdcage veil, but I wanted a flower to use as a fascinator. Well I bought this blue one for my ceremony, and the pink one for my reception!

My Mom's reaction, "Colors? I thought you only wore white. Oh well, you know best." Hah. You can't win 'em all.

done and done.

Consider this photo op, a done deal.

Because this gal, has just placed her order.

Now, that doesn't mean, a few more wouldn't hurt. ;)

so blue, it's not blue.

I'm busy hunting down some accessories for my maids, as both wedding day attire and also gifts. This necklace from whiteowl is a beauty.

If only it were blue.

the E word.

My bff of 37 years and counting* just got officially engaged. The thing is, is that she has been unofficially engaged for some time now.

Her wedding date, dress, location, guest list....already done. The only thing that wasn't done, was the proposal.

It makes you think, what do you consider as the moment you are engaged?

Is it when you get The ring? When he proposes? When he asks the fam for permission?

I think it's the moment you both decide, that this is It. When you both decide that there is no one else in the world to make you happy. That moment, that you know, you want to be engaged. Because you want to be married. To that one person, forever.

So when they decided that they wanted to marry, they naturally started making plans. But when a ring snafu happened, my bff felt like she was going to be married before she was engaged.

Turns out, he bought a mood ring from a tourist gift shop behind her back when we went out for my birthday. And that night he got down on one knee and proposed.

So congratulations, bff, on your engagement. Regardless of when you actually got engaged. ;)

*Technically it's been less than 37 years. But not by much. ;)

go ahead, tell me.

Perhaps this can give you an idea of what I'm looking for, for my maids.
I want some fashion forward, fun accessories that pull the whole sha-bang together.
They are all wearing black cocktail dresses, of their choice, and I want something that unifies their look.

Maybe my question is, is why is it so hard to find these beauties in shades of pinks?? And when I do find what I want, it's like hella expensive.
